AI Screenr is an AI-powered candidate screening platform operated by eprovement s. r. o. (“we”, “us”, “our”, the “Data Processor”).

The company that posts a job and invites candidates to interview (“Hiring Company”, the “Data Controller”) determines the purposes and means of processing candidate personal data. eprovement s. r. o. acts as the Data Processor on behalf of the Hiring Company.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Candidate Data

Data provided during the interview process:

  • Identity data: Full name, email address (optional)
  • Voice recordings: Audio of the entire interview conversation
  • Video recordings: Camera feed during the interview (if enabled by the Hiring Company)
  • Interview transcript: Full text transcription of the voice conversation
  • AI evaluation: Scores, dimension ratings, strengths, risks, recommendations, evidence snippets
  • Candidate feedback: Post-interview experience ratings and comments (voluntary)
  • Technical data: Browser type, device information (for device check functionality)

2.2 Hiring Company Data

Data from account holders:

  • Account data: Name, email address, company name (via Clerk authentication)
  • Job configuration: Job descriptions, skills, questions, evaluation criteria
  • Branding: Company logo URL, brand colors (optional)

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

  • Session cookies: Authentication tokens managed by Clerk

4. Who Has Access to Your Data

4.1 Data Access

  • Hiring Company: Has full access to candidate interview data (transcripts, scores, recordings, evaluations) for the jobs they created. This includes any team members the Hiring Company grants access to via the collaboration feature.
  • eprovement s. r. o.: As the platform operator and Data Processor, has technical access to all data for the purposes of operating, maintaining, and improving the service. We do not use candidate data for any purpose other than providing the service to the Hiring Company.
  • Candidates: Can see their own interview status, score summary, and recommendation on the results page. Candidates do not have access to detailed evaluation reports, transcripts, or other candidates' data.

5. International Data Transfers

Some of our sub-processors are located in the United States. For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA) to the USA, we rely on:

  • The EU-US Data Privacy Framework (where applicable)
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
  • The sub-processor's own data protection commitments and certifications

6. Data Retention

The Hiring Company may delete individual interview records or entire job postings at any time, which permanently removes the associated candidate data.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For the Czech Republic: Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, www.uoou.cz).

8. Automated Decision-Making

AI Screenr uses artificial intelligence to evaluate candidate interviews. The AI generates scores, recommendations (“Strong Yes”, “Yes”, “Maybe”, “No”), and analysis based on the interview transcript.

Important: The AI evaluation is a recommendation tool only. No hiring decisions are made automatically. The Hiring Company's human recruiters review all AI-generated evaluations and make the final hiring decision. Candidates are not subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects (GDPR Art. 22).

9. Interview Recording Consent

Before starting an interview, candidates are informed that the conversation will be recorded and processed by AI. By clicking “Start Interview”, the candidate acknowledges this. Video recording is optional and configured by the Hiring Company.

Candidates may choose not to proceed with the interview at any time. During the interview, candidates may request to end the interview, and the AI will conclude the session gracefully.

10. Cookies and Local Storage

  • Authentication cookies: Set by Clerk for session management (essential, no consent required)
  • Language preference: Stored in browser localStorage to remember the user's chosen language
  • Interview state: Temporary data stored in localStorage during an active interview (cleared after completion)

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies that require consent.

11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encrypted WebRTC audio/video streams
  • Authentication and access control via Clerk
  • Role-based access (only job owners and authorized collaborators can view interview data)
  • Database access restricted to the application layer

12. Children's Privacy

AI Screenr is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used our service, please contact us at vlcek@eprovement.com.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Hiring Companies of significant changes via email. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
